About Us
In 2001 Micheal Wilson (a former Olympian and International road cyclist) purchased the historic vineyard at Legana.
The first plantings at Vélo were in 1966 by Graham Wiltshire.
At Vélo, handpicked fruit is nurtured from vine to bottle, producing outstanding, handcrafted wines. Our wines are carefully selected from classic French varieties that particularly suit the Tasmanian climate. Hand picking, hand plunging and gentle basket pressing reflect in the character of our wines.
We are a boutique producer and we concentrate on ripening our fruit to perfection. We know you will enjoy sampling our impressive range of award winning wines along with our friendly service.
Open: 10am-5pm, daily.
